A deactivated vehicle on I-25 heading south into Cimarron was moved to the shoulder. All lanes are now open.

Colorado Springs police warn that I-25 is extremely freezing across the city. "Drivers should use slower speeds and expect delays on the freeway," tweeted CSPD.

A couple of accidents on I-25 heading north slowed traffic on Friday morning. One was on Circle Drive / Lake Avenue. The other was in Rockrimmon. Both have since been cleared from the road.

Crashes have been reported on major roads across the Front Range. Two accidents have been reported on I-25 – one near Exit 202 and the other at Exit 205 – in the Denver area. Two crashes in US 36 (Boulder Turnpike) were also reported. Interstate 70 reopened after a closure between Limon and Burlington.
Colorado Springs begins Friday with slippery roads and cold temperatures, said the National Weather Service in Pueblo.
The morning commute could take extra time after the snow made the roads wet and icy overnight. The Colorado Springs Police Department issued a city accident warning to remind drivers to slow down.
On Friday, a snow probability of 40% is expected in the Pikes Peak region with mostly cloudy skies, the agency said
Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 39 degrees with wind speeds of 10 to 15 miles per hour, the weather service said.
The overnight snow probability drops to 30% before 3 a.m. and again after 4 a.m. The sky will likely be mostly cloudy, with lows of 24 degrees and winds between 5 and 10 mph, the agency said.
The forecast for Saturday shows signs of snow with more early next week. Sunday will bring a little delay and is expected to remain dry and sunny, said the weather service.
