COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (KRDO) – Renovation of the chambers of the historic Colorado Springs City Council is scheduled to begin.
From April 13th, the crews will start building the renovation.
The city says the project will cost $ 465,000. The chambers will undergo improvements to audio and video displays, more seating, and other structural improvements.
The building will remain closed for 18 weeks during this work.
Meanwhile, all city meetings are held in the Blue River Board Room of the Colorado Springs Utilities in the Plaza of the Rockies.
The renovation is expected to be completed by the end of August.
